​Join us for an invigorating Bhangra workshop before the conference! Bhangra is a vibrant and energetic folk dance from Punjab, India, characterised by lively Punjabi music and dynamic movements. Participants can expect a fun-filled session where they will learn basic Bhangra steps and enjoy a fantastic cardio workout that boosts both fitness and mood. No prior dance experience is necessary—just come ready to move and have a great time!

Description
​This is a fun and high energy class, hosted by my favourite instructor at Newcastle University. There is lots of movement, but is low impact and has plenty of alternative options for each exercise. It consists of a Step (optional), with small hand weights. Expect a total body workout where all of the major muscle groups are worked. The class finishes with a core workout.
